Our Projects

Mitr  Projects

Coming together for a Cause !

Mitr joined hands with Nanhi Kali (a non-for-profit registered trust working specifically in the areas of education health and livelihood formed by the K.C.Mahindra Education Trust) to provide a 5 year support to 60 girls in the far-reach areas of Chambal district.

Mitr worked with Naandi Foundation to sponsor children of GPS Aliyabad – a Government owned –primary co-educational school, under the “Ensuring Children Learn Project. Towards a better tomorrow!”

Mitr alongside with L V Prasad Eye Institute conducted, diagnosed and provided assistance to  students with Myopia at the schools supported by us. Myopia in young children, especially the underprivileged child often goes unnoticed leading to more problems than just sight disability.

We have collaborated with Rotary and donated books to inculcate the habit of reading in the children in our schools. Rotary also helped in providing school shoes to the students.

Mitr Adopts

Mitr has adopted schools  with the objective to create an effective teaching and learning environment, and to encourage community participation in the school and in the development of the children.

To accomplish this vision, Mitr undertook preliminary inspections to analyze the need for infrastructure, training, and school activities for children aged 6-14 years. As a result of which, the children were provided with an improved and secure environment to study and to grow. Strong emphasis for a contoured healthcare plan is being emphasized and ensured.
